Day Tripping to Uruguay

Day tripping to Colonia, Uruguay.

We woke up bright and early and headed on over to Uruguay via ferry.  It wasn't a long ride down the river and was very much worth the trip.  It was beautiful city and country, rich with so much history and beauty.  It may have been may favorite place to photograph the kids.  The scenery made for a beautiful backdrop.

Iguazu Falls, Argentina and Brazil

The middle part of the week was spent at Iguazu Falls.  We went to both the Argentine and Brazil parts of the falls.  The main difference is that on the Brazil side they allowed children to take the boat rides into the falls.  It was an amazing and COLD ride.  We did lots of hiking and even more sweating but in the end it was worth it all.  The views were amazing and the sheer force of the water was unreal.  Plus getting soaked by the falls was a memory all on its own.
