That's right, Bryce has crossed the growth chart line and is no longer below the 5 percentile on the charts. She is now in the 12th percentile for height. My little peanut is getting taller. Go Bryce Go! However, her weight is still below the 5th percentile. She weighed in today at 16 lbs 1 oz with a diaper on. At her check up, Dr. Sherrod said that I am just going to have to get used to her being petite. She is eating almost all table foods and is drinking from sippy cups now. Somedays she can throw back the food just like Layne and other days she is picky. You can never tell with her. She is also walking now. She still needs lots of practice but she can walk across a room unassisted. She gets so excited that she loses her balance and topples over. She is my fearless warrior. She never gives up and tries over and over again.
Layne is the sweet and sensitive one of the pair. Just this morning she gave her brother a kiss without being asked. Graham gave her a soccer ball and in return she leaned over and gave him a kiss. It was one of the sweetest moments the 2 have shared. Layne weighed in today at 25 lbs 8 ozs. That would be the 80th percentile. It is a good thing her height is the 90th percentile. Dr. Sherrod said I have 2 perfect little girls. He has a way of making you feel like your kids are the only ones he sees. I love that about him. Layne loves playing with her brother. They chase each other around the house and bounce the ball back and forth. It is so neat watching them all interact. Even though the girls are not truly talking yet, Graham seems to understand what they are saying.

5:30 Wake Up Call
My 3 year old alarm went off today at 5:30 in the morning. Graham declared he was awake and ready to go to preschool. I guess he did not get the memo that school did not start until 9:00. I have been preparing him for the past 2 weeks about returning to school with a new teacher and new room. He likes structure and routine and did not understand why he just could not have Ms. Liz and Ms. Jenny again for his teacher. I was also preparing myself to handle all the tears and crying that would ensue as I attempted to leave the room. He made quite a seen last year in the 2 year old room, so I was going to be ready this year...stay strong and walk away. But this year, my little man walked right into his room greeted his new teacher with a firm handshake and started his day with no tears, no crying, no needing Mommy. So instead, Mommy walked out the room silently crying wanting her little boy to need her just a little bit longer.
