Seven

May 20, 2013

Bryce and Layne are officially 7.  How is it possible that my babies are 7.  It is crazy to think 7 years ago I went into labor at 34 weeks and delivered my perfect little people.  These girls have done more in their 7 years of life than I have in my 39 years.  I am so happy that Brian and I have been blessed to be their parents and show them the world and all it has to offer.  Love you baby girls!

We kicked off their birthday with pedicures, opening presents, brownie treats at school and of course blowing out candles again the evening of their birthday.
Busy, Busy day for my sweet seven year old girls.

Baseball

Layne is finishing up baseball season. She opted out of softball with the girls because she wanted the ball pitched overhand not under!  I guess until she is "made" to play with the girls, baseball is her sport of choice.

Party Time...soon to be 7.

May 17, 2013

The girls kicked off their birthday weekend with a small party at their gymnastic club.  They had a great time playing, flipping, hanging, bending, and tumbling around with their friends.
Bryce and friends hanging around.

K having some beam action.

Layne almost has her back walkover complete.

Waiting for Pizza and drinks.
Donuts were their dessert of choice.  Donuts are not easily accessible in Singapore like they are in Texas.  So the girls asked if they could have them instead of cake or cupcakes.  All the girls loved it!

Make a wish.  Happy 7th birthday my perfect little girls!

SAS Art Show 2013

The kids had their final art show at SAS.  I love how their school goes full force on academics as well as the arts.  Kids are so talented and creative when given the opportunity to express themselves.

Bryce had her showing first and she was so proud of the piece she presented at the show!

Graham's show was next and he made a vase.  He told me he wanted to give it to me on Mother's Day but it was in the Art Show.

Layne was the last to show off her art and she made a tiger mask.  She did a great job!

End of an Era in Krabi, Thailand

Krabi, Thailand April 28-May 1 2013

Our time in Asia is quickly coming to an end.  Three years of adventures that I never ever dreamed possible.  There is still so much to see on this side of the world but I am so blessed that our last Asian holiday was spent in Krabi, Thailand.  It was beyond beautiful and a perfect send off for our family of 5.

We wrapped a couple of occasions into this holiday.  Brian flew in from Lima to celebrate the big 4-0! Plus our friends the Reids and Richards joined in as our last time to holiday together in Asia.

Brian and Graham kayaking

Layne's turn to kayak.  Bryce opted out of the adventure.

Birthday boy with Zach and Lee AKA the Wolfpack

3 years of friendship!
We chartered a boat to take us to the Phi Phi Islands.  We were able to snorkel and see hundreds of fish.  You could reach and and touch them that is how close and how many there were in the crystal clear water.

This is the beach that the Leonardo DeCaprio movie The Beach was filmed!

The girls:  Layne, Katie, Bryce and Madeleine

The boys: Austin and Graham

Off to an island for lunch on the beach.

Attempting our recreation of the movie The Hangover 2.  We stayed at the Sheraton which is where the movie was filmed.
