Asia Fest is a huge event for 2nd graders at Graham's school. Several Asian countries are represented and the children travel from room to room experiencing the different cultures. To name just a few...Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, China, and Laos. The kids were also encouraged to dress in attire from the country they researched. Graham wore an Indonesian shirt called a batik. I was his group tour guide and traveled with the students from country to country.
