Thoughts of Heaven

G: Sweet Pea is in bunny heaven. Do you think Sweet Pea has enough carrots up there?
Mommy: I am pretty sure Jesus will take care of Sweet Pea.
G: When Sweet Pea starts to feel better she will come back to Sharon's... In about a hundred days.
Mommy: I don't think so buddy. Sweet Pea loves being with Jesus. She will never feel yucky with Jesus.
G: Well, I just hope He does not run out of carrots.

Bryce's turn!

Bryce's hair finally needed a trim. She did great. Both Layne and Bryce did not shed one tear when they received their first haircut.

Layne (click on her name and see her first haircut pics...I just figured out how to do that) waiting patiently for her sister to finish her haircut. She loved sitting in the car and driving.

Just for grins...here are pictures of Graham (17 months) getting his first haircut. Everyone always says that Bryce and Graham look exactly alike but I think in these pictures Layne looks like him. Look at those chubby cheeks.

What did you do on Sunday?

A trip to the zoo is what we did on Sunday. We saw lots of animals, rode the monorail, and hung out with our friends.

AND this is what Brian did on his Sunday ...

Monkeys roaming the street.

Camels pulling taxi's.

Visiting the Taj Mahal.

The plane, the plane

Graham, Bryce and Layne have been enjoying the outdoors lately. It seems like everytime we have a couple of cold days we are rewarded with a few warm days as well. They have loved being able to play in their sandbox and watch airplanes in the afternoons.

Pitter Patter!

Awakened by the pitter patter of feet at 11:30pm.
Silence.
Flush...
Pitter Patter.
Door Closes.
Silence!

I have waited for this day for a LONG time. Graham did not call me to help him go potty in the middle of the night. It is a little bittersweet. The sweet part is I get my night time sleep back. The bitter part is this is just one more sign that my baby does not need me anymore.

Seriously, Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's 2008 kicked off with a trip to the doctors office. They look relatively happy here waiting to see the doctor but this was a few hours before 2 sinus infections, 1 eye infection for Layne, and 1 junky right lung for Bryce accompanied with round the clock breathing treatments hit our household.

Seriously, does this look like a Happy Valentine?

What about this sweet Valentine face?

At least Graham enjoyed his Valentine's Day with a party at school and all the candy he can eat.

A few firsts of the New Year

We are just 6 weeks into the New Year and the kids have reached a few firsts.

*Layne had her 1st haircut. Bryce is still waiting to grow a few more strands.

*The girls started taking their first My Gym class with their friend Jeanne.
*This is Graham's re-enactment of his first sleep over at his cousin's house as well as his first sleepover at his BFF's house.

*Finally, Bryce has experienced her first TIMEOUT! She kept turning the TV off and on and here she is standing at the timeout wall. Layne does not frequent the timeout wall as often as her sister.
