Spring Break Staycation~Marina Bay Sands

This year Spring Break fell during Graham's birthday, Daddy coming home and Easter.  We had a lot to accomplish!

March 27-28

We spent a couple days hanging out with our friends, Chad and Denise and their kids Cameron and Kaitlyn, at Marina Bay Sands.  We have been here before when we first moved to Singapore.  The kids can barely remember it, so I wanted to them to experience the pool one last time.  It really has amazing views and the kids LOVED swimming here.  It has to be the best infinity pool we have ever been to.

We literally spent every waking hour at the pool.  The kids did not even want to get out for dinner.  So we ate by the pool and let the kids swim until way past their bed time.

March Madness in May

March Madness sounds about right for this family considering it is now May.  I am determined to get this blog caught up on the all the kids' events because come June a whole new adventure to Lima, Peru will begin...

Graham's 3rd grade class had a small music presentation, where they sang, played instruments and even taught the parents how to play an instrument.  The music program at SAS is stellar and am so happy to all that they have been exposed.

On Sunday my 8 yr old turned into a 9 yr old.  I cannot believe that I have had the honor of being Graham's mommy for 9 years.  He really is a good kid...for the most part.  I see flashes of tweendom but overall he is a kind hearted, sensitive, sweet boy.  Brian flew in just in time from Peru to celebrate his birthday.  Our family was complete for the week.

We spent the morning at the Singapore Zoo.  We wanted to get in one last visit before we move.  Other zoos have a lot to live up to in comparison to this one.  The zoo just opened a Panda Bear exhibit so we headed there first to get a glance at the newest zoo additions.

You can see the panda bear in the background if you look closely.

The last part of the zoo trip, we headed to the splash park to cool off.  This is one of their favorite parts of the zoo.
