Iguazu Falls, Argentina and Brazil

The middle part of the week was spent at Iguazu Falls.  We went to both the Argentine and Brazil parts of the falls.  The main difference is that on the Brazil side they allowed children to take the boat rides into the falls.  It was an amazing and COLD ride.  We did lots of hiking and even more sweating but in the end it was worth it all.  The views were amazing and the sheer force of the water was unreal.  Plus getting soaked by the falls was a memory all on its own.

Don't Cry for Me Argentina

October 3-11
Papa and Grandma Doffing joined us for our October break this year.  We planned an adventure filled week to Buenos Aires, Argentina, Iguazu Falls in Argentina as well as Brazil, and finally a day trip into Colonia,Uruguay.

The beginning and the end of the week was in  Buenos Aires.  We did the typical touristy things.  Saw a Tango show.  Visited Recolleta where Eva Peron is buried.  Walked around Puerto Madero and The Boca.  It was great way to really see the city and enjoy the fall temps.
