April Adventures

We kept our selves quite busy through the month of April.  The big news was Layne added braces to her smile.  We are in for about a year for this first round and then we see what happens next.

 We also said farewell to our beach house this month.  The final day that I was there to pack it up and clean, the rest of the beach was also closing down all the restaurants.  It was a bit bittersweet.

Graham placed 2nd in a golf tournament!  We were all so happy to see his hard work paying off.

 Brian and I and some of our friends went to see Cold Play in concert at the stadium.  It was an excellent show.  Even Brian liked it even though he didn't even know who Cold Play was when we bought the tickets. 

We were still able to squeeze in a day at Playa Santa Maria!

Cold weather is coming in little bursts now.  Cold in the morning but hot in the afternoon.  Winter will be here before to long.

Here is Layne at the end of April.  I can already see her teeth moving after 4 weeks.

12 Years

 2016 is the year Graham turned 12.  12 years old. We spent his birthday weekend surfing at the beach with family and friends.

March Madness

Now that school is back in session we are relegated to weekends only at the beach house at least until early April.  It is definitely less crowded and the kids get to enjoy bike riding a little bit longer and I get the sunsets.

Graham and one of his friends entered a surf competition just to try it out.  While neither of them placed it was a great experience for them to be enter.

I'm back. I think.

Hmmmm....it has been almost a year since I last posted any updates or pictures.  It would be easy to just let the blog quietly fade into internet heaven but the girls occasionally ask when the 2015 book will be printed.  That book would be short if I printed it as is.  So I am going to attempt to catch up on and backdate the highlights of 2015 in the next week or so and then REALLY try hard to stay current on 2016.  In the mean time I will leave my new favorite pictures of my trio right here.
