Holidays 2015

This year we have opted to stay in Peru for our holidays and summer break.  We celebrated Christmas at our home in Lima and then quickly loaded up the car and headed out to our beach house in Punta Hermosa.  It is just a quick 45 minute drive south (without traffic) to the house we rented on Playa Cabelleros.

This is the landmark that we tell all our friends to look for when they come visit at the beach.

We closed out 2015 in Punta Hermosa with an amazing fireworks display that we could watch from our beach house.  Happy New Year and blessings for a fabulous 2016.

Surfing in Makaha

For Christmas this year, Graham asked for his own surfboard.  So, we headed to the surf shop, Klimax, and shopped for his very first board.  He couldn't wait to take it out to the beach with his friends.

Closing out 2015

December is always a whirlwind!  Kids are performing at end of semester programs, holiday shopping and this year we are getting ready to head to the beach for the entire summer.  The excitement is high around the Doffing house this holiday season.

Graham had his first band concert.  He has really enjoyed band this semester and is motivated to play and practice.  He is playing the bass clarinet this year.

 Bryce had a performance in her school play called Stone Soup ~ The Musical.  She really enjoyed performing and singing!

 

The girls also had an end of semester music performance.  They sang, danced and played the recorder.
