Happy Easter!

After a stormy, rainy night and pitter patterings of little feet entering my room a few times because of the thunder we were all able to wake up and enjoy Easter. Due to my lack of sound sleep I forgot to take pictures of all the Easter basket excitement. Bryce was beyond thrilled to receive a new Dora doll in her basket. Graham and Layne were ready to hit the computer and start the adoption process of their new Webkins.
My sweet little Layne decided to put stamps all over her legs right before we left to go over to the Crawford's for Easter brunch. I asked, "Why did you do that?" She had the most thoughtful and loveable answer. She said, "I am like my granddad. I love him!" Her granddad has a couple of tattoos on his leg and wanted to be just like him! I might worry about this later when she is 16 and wants tattoos like her granddad but for now I find it endearing.
We spent the day celebrating at the Crawford's house with some of our friends. It was fun for the kids and the food was delicious. I think I ate enough to feed a small army.
Getting ready for their indoor egg hunting, since the rain left the grass mushy. They did not seem to mind at all.
Enjoying the fruits of their labor.

Godbrothers! They ended the day with Cascarone eggs. They had fun cracking the confetti eggs all over each other. Are you wondering why Bryce is carrying around a diaper? She loves Pamper diapers. She is insane over them! She says they smell good. So whenever we go to someone's house that uses Pampers she likes to "borrow" some for herself. She even snuck one home in her Easter basket (Sorry, Michelle).
In case you think I am the meanest mommy for not buying them for her and making her wear stinky Huggies please remember she is a twin! It was double diapers even triple for while and Huggies are cheaper. You get more diapers in a box. My girls will be scarred for life because they had to wear Huggies and Graham had Pampers! :)
But back to Easter...
Layne's sad face when we ran out of eggs.

And this is what was tracked into the Crawford's house after all was said and done!
Happy Easter!
