Welcome to the Jungle

Today I took the kids to the Singapore Zoo.  It was A.MAZ.ING!  We spent all morning looking in awe at the animals in the zoo.  We did not even see a fraction of the animals there.  The kids were amazed at how close the animals were, how some were free range, and how active most the animals were.

The scenery as we strolled around the zoo was just as amazing.  Seriously, this is what we looked at as we went from exhibit to exhibit.
Here are some pictures of some of the animals that we admired.  We will definitely be heading back to the zoo many, many more times.
Parrots as we entered the zoo.  Layne refused to get in the picture.
Bryce called these elephant monkeys because of their large nose.  We also got to witness their feeding.  The kids loved it.  My friend that I went with told us we have to see the white tigers feeding.  We missed it this time around but will make a point of seeing it soon.

After a late lunch Graham, Bryce and Layne enjoyed cooling off at the waterpark in the zoo.  It was a great way to end our day at the zoo.  They could have stayed there till closing and we almost did.

As we were walking out this is what we were looking at... pure beauty.
